1. Introduction

2. Services & Eligibility
Our services are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older residing in California, specifically serving the San Jose area and surrounding communities. By requesting service, you confirm that:
You are the owner of the appliance or have explicit authorization from the owner to contract repairs.
You grant our technicians safe and legal access to the premises and the appliance(s) at the scheduled time.
3. Limitation of Liability
IMPORTANT: Please read this section carefully. Secure Appliance Repair LLC, its owners, and employees shall not be held liable for:
Indirect or Consequential Damages: This includes, but is not limited to, food spoilage, water damage, flooring damage, or loss of business income resulting from appliance failure or repair delays.
Liability Cap: Our total liability for any claim arising out of our service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service performed.
Pre-existing Conditions: We are not responsible for damages discovered during the repair process that were caused by prior faulty repairs, manufacturing defects, or natural wear and tear.
4. Warranty
We provide a limited warranty on our work:
Labor: Covered for 30 days from the date of service.
Parts: Covered according to the manufacturer’s warranty (typically 90 days), unless otherwise stated on your invoice.
Voiding Warranty: This warranty is immediately void if the appliance is moved, tampered with, or altered by any third party after our service is completed.
5. Payments, Fees & Cancellations
Diagnostic Fee: A service call/diagnostic fee is mandatory and must be paid even if you decline the suggested repair.
Cancellations: We require at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a "Late Cancellation Fee."
Payment: Payment is due in full upon completion of the service call.
6. SMS & Communication
By providing your phone number, you explicitly consent to receive SMS (text) messages for appointment reminders, arrival notifications, and service-related updates.
Message and data rates may apply.
You may opt-out at any time by replying "STOP".
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any legal action or dispute arising from our services or these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California.
